Our Modalities
Tiered Pricing
Our Tiers represent seniority within The Doorway. They do not represent experience or ability; all of our therapists are incredibly skilled. The price ranges listed indicate Tier 1 to Tier 5 prices.
Massage Services
Our Massage Therapists specialize in the therapeutic side of Massage. They all have an immense knowledge of human anatomy and are highly trained in finding your problem to help relieve you of your pain, increase your range of motion, and get you back to doing what you want to be doing the way you want to be doing it. Your therapist will also spend extra time helping you understand your role in achieving the most complete recovery possible by showing you exercises and helping you understand what influences your problem. When you are trying to fix a complaint, we suggest appointments be no further than 2 weeks apart. Once your complaint has subsided, maintenance should be continued with appointments ranging from 2-8 weeks apart.

Add-Ons
Aromatherapy
Add one of our signature blends to your session. It’s a great way to enhance your relaxation. A nice little treat!
Our Modalities
Deep Tissue
This term is commonly used to describe a combination of firm and therapeutic pressures. Don’t forget to breathe.
Neuromuscular
A combination of trigger point therapy (firm pressure held on a specific point within the muscle) and techniques used to release fascial (connective tissue) patterns that target chronic pain. Book more than one.
Prenatal/Postnatal
Our specially trained therapists will account for the stage of pregnancy and accommodate the client with comfortable—even therapeutic—positioning that helps to release common areas of tension.
Rehabilitive
Just as much a plan as it is an approach. Rehabilitative massage is going to use every skill the therapist has over the course of many ongoing sessions to help you recover from injury and chronic pain. Or maybe to just help you get off the couch again.
Relaxation
A massage with a pressure and pace that allows you to check out. When most people request a Swedish massage, which is limited to just 5 basic strokes used in almost every massage, they mean relaxation. For your relaxation massage, your therapist will help you forget whatever—or whoever—you need to forget about . . . at least for an hour or two.
Sports
A combination of deep tissue pressure with stretching helps keep you in the game, on the green, or off your butt.
Fascial Release
A series of lifting and stretching techniques focused on releasing the connective tissue that has you all twisted up so you can unwind.
East/West Massage
East-West massage therapy utilizes techniques from both Eastern and Western massage therapy practices. In the session, your therapist could use their knowledge from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Traditional Thai Medicine (TTM), along with knowledge of anatomy and connective tissue to relieve the client of tension, improve circulation and energy, and calm the mind. The session will include acupressure, working on meridian and facial lines, and light to deep pressure, to suit the client’s needs. This session is on the massage table.
Thai Massage
Thai massage is a branch of Traditional Thai Medicine that uses deep tissue massage, passive stretching, and techniques that support freeing pathways of movement in the body. Thai massage is done on a mat on the floor with the client in loose, comfortable clothing. Thai massage is great for freeing up energy in the joints and other energy pathways in the body, to relieve pain, and give a greater sense of embodied freedom. Clients often leave feeling lighter, more energized, and with less pain.
